I am an English teacher in a private University in Semarang, Indonesia. As foreign language teacher of adult learners, motivating students to speak in our classrooms each day is both
an opportunity and challenge. Documenting student's learning process and making
it visible for teachers, families, administrators, and
for the student themselves is critical to effective teaching. I started searching for an effective ways to document my students’ speaking assessment. I used documentation of assessment in my
classroom to extend my own learning process. I have been trying to answer the question of "What assessment tool that motivate students to speak in a meaningful context so that they can celebrate their success in learning?"
I have assigned my students to record their speaking assignment since 2010. By developing this blog, I hope make those documentation meaningful.
